Major Maina is a behavioral design researcher and mental health advocate passionate about using design to solve wicked problems—complex social challenges that require innovative and human-centered approaches. He works at the Institute of Design and Innovation, where he explores how behavioral insights, systems thinking, and psychology intersect to shape better experiences, drive social impact, and influence decision-making.


As the founder of Kujikubali, he has led initiatives that bridge psychology and practical interventions to promote mental well-being. His work spans diverse spaces, from youth empowerment to trauma healing and community-driven innovation. With a background in international relations and a master’s in psychology, Major brings a unique lens to conversations on behavior, wellness, and social change.
