These terms govern your use of idi.africa, operated by the Institute of Design & Innovation (IDI), Nairobi, Kenya. By using the site you accept them.
Using this site
You may read, quote and link to anything published here. Please attribute quotations to IDI and link back to the page you took them from. You may not use the site in any way that damages it, interferes with anyone else's use of it, or breaks the law.
Our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, graphics and reports on this site belong to IDI or our partners. Case studies describe work delivered with named partners and clients; their names and logos remain theirs.
Accuracy
We publish research and case studies in good faith, and we take care that figures we quote are ones we can evidence. Content is provided for information and does not constitute professional advice for your particular situation.
Certificate verification
The verification service confirms whether a certificate exists in our records and what its current status is. A page showing "Verified" confirms that IDI issued a certificate with those details — it does not confirm the identity of whoever is presenting it to you. Always check that the name and certificate number on the screen match the document in your hands. We may revoke a certificate where it was issued in error or obtained improperly.
Programmes and applications
Programme details, dates and fees may change. Applying does not guarantee a place. Specific terms for a programme are provided when you apply and take precedence over these general terms.
Links out
We link to other organisations' sites where it is useful. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
